Arsenal Sarandi are rooted to the foot of the Argentine Primera Division as they prepare to welcome Defensa y Justicia to the Estadio Viaducto on Thursday.
At the opposite end of the table, Defensa finds themselves sixth and 19 points clear of Arsenal, having picked up their 10th win of the campaign last time out.
Arsenal Sarandi head into Thursday’s clash on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Velez Sarsfield, who scored with their only attempt on target but limited Federico Vilar’s men to just 30% possession at the Jose Amalfitani Stadium.

Thanks to last weekend’s triumph, Halcon enters Thursday’s showdown on a two-match winning streak across all competitions, having secured a 3-1 victory over Colombian side Millonarios in the Copa Sudamericana.
As a result, Defensa finished five points clear at the summit of their Copa Sudamericana group, booking their place in the knockout phase by winning five of their six group games.
Although Arsenal Sarandi has picked up several wins on home soil in recent weeks, we expect Defensa y Justicia to get the better of the league’s bottom club, although the hosts look set to push the visitors all the way. Our prediction is Under 3.5 Goals.
