Just six days after their FA Cup encounter, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea will face off again in Friday’s Premier League match at the Amex Stadium.

The visitors will travel back down to the South Coast with revenge on their minds after falling to a narrow defeat in Saturday’s cup clash.

Brighton & Hove Albion, currently in 10th place, have only managed two wins in their last 12 Premier League matches (D6, L4). This starkly contrasts with their strong start to the season, during which they secured six wins, four draws, and just two losses in their first 12 games.

While they may have beaten Chelsea at the Amex Stadium in the cup, they will head into Friday’s fixture without a win in five consecutive home league matches since they beat Man City 2-1 in November.

Chelsea will focus on the Premier League and Conference League for the remainder of the season after their FA Cup campaign came to a disappointing end in Saturday’s trip to the Amex Stadium, quashing their hopes of winning the competition for the first time since 2017-18.

Chelsea will be eager to perform strongly after their FA Cup exit against the Seagulls. While we believe they can avoid a loss, it seems likely they might have to accept a draw against a Brighton team that has recorded six draws in their 11 Premier League home games this season.
