Wolfsburg will visit St Pauli on May 16 for matchweek 34. Coach Dieter Hecking hopes his team’s three-goal advantage in goal difference stays intact after facing Bayern.
That concern is understandable. Wolfsburg lost 8-1 to Bayern at the Allianz Arena in January and has conceded at least 3 goals in 5 of their last 7 home games against them.
Wolfsburg drew 1-1 with Freiburg on May 3, stretching their unbeaten run to three games with two draws and a win. They have scored three goals and conceded two during this streak.
